THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED THE 2017 PRIMARY HEALTH CARE EXCELLENCE AWARDS AT OPAL COVE RESORT COFFS HARBOUR
ABOUT THE AWARDS
On 19 April 2017, North Coast Primary Health Network opened the submission period for the 2017 Primary Health Care Excellence Awards. In a first for the Australian health industry, we asked GPs and general practices, allied health, community health, aged care and mental health professionals and organisations, Local Health Districts, Aboriginal health workers and medical services, non governmental organisations, police and ambulance services, universities and TAFE, Northern Rivers Alliance, parliamentarians and community support groups from across the North Coast to submit their programs and projects for review.
We welcomed 55 submissions.
Following a rigorous judging process, 14 finalists were selected and their projects filmed for screening at the 2017 Primary Health Care Excellence Awards Gala Dinner. These videos can now be viewed here.
The Primary Health Care Excellence Awards honour the individuals and teams working to bring better health to our region. They celebrate the incredible work carried out in the North Coast and inspire us to look for fresh ideas and advancement. The Awards also offer the chance to have some fun, which is what good health is about!
