Entering a submission in the 2017 Excellence Awards is a valuable learning experience. The Awards offer the opportunity to delve deeper into your project and learn from your work and others. The benefits of researching, writing and supporting your entries are significant. You'll develop strong, compelling stories of achievement that can be used elsewhere to tell your story.  Each systematic step you go through brings you closer to continued improvement.  

Each of the 12 finalists for 2017 will work with our talented in-house videographer on a 2-3 minute video that will be presented at the Awards Gala Dinner on September 7. Finalists will then receive a copy of their video for promotion as they see fit.

Each finalist will receive a 2017 Excellence Award with the category name engraved. This beautiful award will look great on any office desk and serves as a constant reminder to strive for quality improvement and excellence. 

Finalists will be presented their awards on stage at the 2017 Excellence Awards Gala Dinner. 

Each finalist will receive two tickets to the Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on September 7. The Gala Dinner is a night of exciting entertainment and great food and lots of fun can be had. The showcasing of finalist videos is a highlight.

Each finalist will receive exposure via a variety of media platforms. Finalists can enjoy publicity on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and the Web, as well as in print newspapers such as the Northern Star. Each finalist will also be featured in our special edition HealthSpeak magazine. If getting word out about your program is important, the Excellent Awards is a great way to do just that. 

Each submission is carefully reviewed by a panel of judges and you will have access to any comments made. In other words, submitting an entry into the Excellence Awards gives you free advice from some of the most experienced people in the health and community sector.
