Healthy North Coast Workforce

North Coast GP Training, working in consultation with the Educational Advisory Committee, will deliver the Healthy North Coast Workforce program. The program will deliver a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities to North Coast clinicians with an emphasis on continuing professional development (CPD) events. The CPD events are designed to promote quality, integrated, team-based care through joint education for general practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals.

The regular events will include:

  • Clinical Societies – regionally aligned groups of clinicians who meet for education and networking. Each clinical society will select topics to respond to local community health and clinical needs. For more information about your local clinical society or to register your interest visit: http://www.ncgpt.org.au/clinical-societies/
  • Nurse Networks – educational opportunities for nurses with meetings held in Tweed Heads, Northern Rivers, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. Each regional nurse network will select topics that respond to their local community health and clinical needs.
