Curing Hepatitis C in Primary Care

There are currently  8,084 people living with hepatitis C on the North Coast of NSW. These individuals are eligible for life saving DAAs which have a cure rate of 95%.

This update will provide GPs and primary care practitioners with necessary knowledge to engage their patients in care, perform investigations to assess for advanced liver disease and increase their confidence to prescribe new hepatitis C treatments in consultation with (or without) a specialist.
