Working with Adult Male Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse

This workshop is designed to assist clinicians and other professionals working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

The effects of childhood abuse on men will be examined and strategies that can help men recover will be explored.

Specific attention will be paid to the role of group work, looking at the unique advantages that support from peers can bring to the recovery process.

This workshop will include a Q&A/discussion with an emphasis on the importance of trauma aware practice.
