GP Respiratory Clinics Now Open

Four GP respiratory clinics are now open on the North Coast at Murwillumbah, Ballina, Yamba and Nambucca Heads. Two more clinics are scheduled to open at Wauchope and Kempsey in May.

GP respiratory clinics provide free assessment and COVID-19 testing for people with mild-to-moderate respiratory symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath or fatigue.

Click here for more information on respiratory clinics.

The clinics are a great example of local collaboration to support the health and wellbeing of the whole community.

Clinic locations have been selected to complement existing NSW Health COVID-19 Fever Clinics across the region. Results of tests undertaken at the clinics will be communicated to patients’ regular GPs to ensure coordinated care.

GPs, nurses or administration staff interested in supporting your local respiratory clinic can contact srobin@ncphn.org.au for further information.
