Help Shape a New Regional Vision for Health Outcomes in Mental Health and AoD

Launch of North Coast Collective Events in Coffs Harbour and Ballina

Health professionals and community members are warmly invited to attend the launch of the North Coast Collective at events to be held in Coffs Harbour and Ballina. These informative sessions will be hosted by ABC health journalist Dr Norman Swan.

North Coast Primary Health Network, in partnership with Mid North Coast and Northern NSW Local Health Districts, has formed North Coast Collective (NCC). Its first project is a pilot seeking to improve the way we are investing in and delivering mental health care and alcohol and other drug services in our region.

This event is an opportunity for you to find out more about NCC and to take part in discussions to shape health services in our region.

What can I expect?

The day will include a short introduction to North Coast Collective followed by group discussions. The agenda includes:

  • Hearing about the community’s needs and the future of mental health services.
  • Sharing your experience and knowledge.
  • Telling us how to keep you actively involved in the development of the North Coast Collective.

There are separate events for community members and service providers. Please register for the service provider events, and tell your clients about the community events!
