Immunisation Update – October 2019

Australian Immunisation Handbook Updates

A summary of updates made to the Handbook is available here. Changes include updates on:

  • Co-administration of vaccines.
  • Advice for travellers against measles, mumps and rubella.
  • Advice for international travellers regarding yellow fever.
  • Vaccination of infants born to mothers who received bDMARDs during pregnancy.

Measles education and promotional materials

The Australian Government has commissioned the Australian Academy of Science to develop educational and promotional materials to raise awareness about measles. Learn more here.
