What’s Your COVID-19 Contingency Plan?

The NSW Council of Social Service has developed a handy online resource to help community service providers who don’t have a contingency plan for COVID-19. It includes the latest health advice for:

  • the public
  • employers
  • healthcare and residential care workers
  • people who live in residential aged care facilities, their family members and visitors
  • schools and early childhood centres, students and their parents, and
  • NDIS participants
  • people with intellectual disability

Topics include:

Advice for when your service is affected by COVID-19, including business planning tools and templates.

The Council of Australian Governments Disability Reform Council met on 18 March and agreed on a range of priorities to support people with disability, NDIS participants and disability services. Read the communique here.

This guide has a range of questions and issues to consider and is intended as a practical tool to help get you started.
