New Directions Program

New Directions aims to address maternal and child health inequalities experienced by Aboriginal people in our region.

The program uses a collaborative approach to deliver child health services; antenatal clinics; group programs; and health education to young people through the Core of Life Program.

The New Directions program is a partnership between North Coast Primary Health Network, Jullums Lismore Aboriginal Medical Service and Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation– Richmond Valley, and has been implemented since 2011 in Lismore, Richmond Valley and Kyogle LGAs.
